Empties.. Things I've Recently Used Up

                    

Here is my first empties post. Before blogging, I didn't realise the amount of products I use regularly, but I use quite a lot and throw them in the bin without a second thought. Now, I have to make a conscious effort to remember to keep them, to share with you guys. It also helps me use up things that would normally sit around half used for a long time, because I'm always trying new things. I have waited until I had a good amount of products to talk about but at the same time not too many that would take forever to read. I love reading and watching empties blogs and videos to see what other people have been using and loving, or not loving. Here are mine :)

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Medium Brown

I have spoken about this in a recent blog, so don't need to go into too much detail here but I love this product. It's the best dry shampoo I have found so far, and although I will continue to try new ones, I will definely repurchase this time and time again. 

Tresemme Salon Finish Hairspray Extra Hold

I buy this hairspray in travel and full size cans because I use both. The full size is good value for money and this product doesn't make my hair feel sticky or greasy. It holds my hair without making it crunchy (yuck) and it can be easily brushed out without any build up. The travel size usually floats around in my bag. I will again repurchase this. 

NYX Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray

This is the first and only setting spray I have owned, but I wouldn't say it's a holy grail of mine. I couldn't really tell if it made my makeup last longer or not but I would always use it if I needed to get a really long lasting day out of my face makeup at anytime just in case it did help. With setting sprays, aside from the claim that they make your makeup stay longer, they do actually give your face a refreshed feeling and help to make any powdery or cakes spots disappear. This one always gave my face a bit of a fresh glow/look to it which I liked. I might repurchase this, but I do want to try others first. Where I live, you don't often see setting sprays at the stores so I will have to purchase online. Do you suggest any??

NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Nude

I really like the retractable liners because I don't like having to sharpen them all the time and they tend not to dry out. This one was a good colour to go with a lots of different lipsticks. I used it up quite quickly. I would repurchase this one.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob

By far my favourite lip liner ever!  I first saw this on a you tube video by Melissa Autry, one of my favourite youtubers. It is a beautiful colour and can be used under a multitude of lipsticks or on its own with a gloss. I love that it is super smooth and easy to apply to my lips and lasts a long time. Again, it is retractable so no need for a sharpener which is great. I will repurchase this colour and brand over and over again! 

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara - Flared

This stands alone as a fantastic product and I really love it. It doesn't clump, it separates and lengthens beautifully. I use this in conjunction with my covergirl clump crusher and the combo makes for amazing results! No need for falsies when I wear them both together. I will most definitely repurchase this. 

Be yourself Dip & Twist Express Nail Polish Remover

The product speaks for itself.. Dip and twist, that's all you have to do and your nail Polish is gone. It has a sponge inside soaked in nail polish remover which you just sweep your nails across inside the container. I do my nails weekly and this makes it so much quicker to take off old polish. I have had a few of these and will buy it again. Brilliant idea whoever thought of it. 

                       

Ultraceuticals Skin Care Products

These 3 are a part of my usual home  skin care routine and are used in addition to other products from the range. Since using ultraceuticals my skin has changed dramatically for the better. I will do a blog post about my am and pm routine at a later date. I have lots to say about them that I will save for a special post. Here i have the Ultra Diminishing Complex, which helps brighten the skin and reduce pigmentation, which I suffered from badly. This has been brilliant! Worth every penny. 

Also, I use the Ultra C10 Firming Serum which gives protection from harmful uv rays that had done so much damage to my face. It contains 10% pure vitamin c and peptides to improve firmness of the skin. I can't recommend this enough. 

The eye cream I use from the range is called Ultra A Perfecting Eye Cream. It has made a huge difference to the lines around my eyes while providing hydration to the area, making the skin around my eyes look more youthful. Damage from the sun has made me get premature wrinkles and tired looking uneven skin. As we all know dry skin = aged appearance. 

I will continue to repurchase the Ultraceuticals range for ever! I also visit my local salon for professional treatments every few months. As mentioned before I will do an in depth review on Ultraceauticals at a later date. I tell anyone that will listen about this stuff! :)
