Dupes... Mac Vegas Volt

I love finding dupes for high end products! This one I discovered after one of my beautiful friends picked it up at a Mac counter and insisted I try it on. After I did, I didn't want to give it back!!

Vegas Volt can be described as an orangey coral colour that's very strong. Packed full of pigmentation, not for someone who prefers lighter colours. A beautiful pick for summer time. (I don't care about that, I wear whatever I feel like at the time)  Mac's famous creamy formula means it feels beautiful on the lips and it smells delicious!

Me being me, I then went on the hunt for a cheaper alternative and found Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Coralberry.

Coralberry is very much the same colour as Vegas Volt although the formula is obviously different. This one I find more creamy and slightly less pigmented but still just as gorgeous. It's very moisturising and also feels great on the lips.

Here are some pictures I've taken to show you the similarities..

Swatches.....

Price? Mac lipsticks cost $36 and Revlon lipsticks are typically around $21 but they are ALWAYS on sale somewhere. My local Chemist Warehouse have sales on Revlon products all the time.

Here I am wearing Mac Vegas Volt on my top lip and Revlon Coralberry on my bottom lip.

What do you think?? Pretty close if you ask me!!

Thanks for reading guys and let me know if there are any that you have found!!

  1. They are exactly the same! When you wear the Revlon one it looks exactly like the Mac. Nice pic btw - flawless foundation :).
